Pakistan is in the grip of a constitutional storm as the government of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif announces a boycott of Supreme Court proceedings on elections delay. The election authority announced the postponement of General elections in the country’s largest province which the Supreme Court sees as a serious violation of the constitution and has summoned the defense and finance ministries’ bosses on Monday to ask about the reasons of their inability to extend support for the elections which were earlier scheduled for 30th April.
