A high powered judicial commission headed by the Supreme Court’s Justice Faez Isa began its proceedings suddenly at a very short notice. The commission including Chief Justices of two high courts – Chief Justice Amir Farooq of Islamabad High Court and Chief Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan of Balochistan High Court- directed Attorney General to place on record the leaked audio tapes and the transcripts. In the meantime former prime minister Imran Khan has challenged the composition of the audio leak commission which is probing leaked audio conversation of a top judge, Justice Mazahir Ali Akbar Naqvi and former chief Justice Saqib Nisar which showed a nexus between Imran Khan and the top judges.
