The Lahore and Islamabad High Courts have shown timidity in dealing with the cases of prominent journalists Sami Ibrahim and Imran Riaz Khan going missing, the later from heart of capital Islamabad. Chief Justice Lahore High Court Ameer Hussain Bhatti and his counterpart in Islamabad have been avoiding to issue actionable and solid orders for recovery of the two journos against country’s intelligence agencies who are suspected of kidnapping the two who are strong critique of the current government and the powerful military establishment. The missing journos have also been the ardent supporter of former prime minister Imran Khan ousted through a parliamentary no confidence vote in April last year.
