Justice Babar Sattar of Islamabad High Court has suspended an age old law that empowered district administration to arrest citizens for the so called reason of “maintenance of public orders” The interim injunction came after repeated arrests of opposition workers and politicians in-spite of the court orders to release them in different cases.
