Some new facts have emerged about the controversial and what appeared to be an enforced interview of an under custody person whose whereabouts were officially not known to the government. Sadaqat Abbasi, a former PTI MNA, on 04 October suddenly appeared at Dawn News TV and got his interview recorded to announce his resignation from his party- PTI. After barrage of critical comments the airing of the interview, recorded on 4 Oct was delayed by the TV channel management. The same was aired six days later only after it was disclosed (and established through bail orders) by Abbasi that he had been formerly released on bail by an anti-terrorism court in Rawalpindi a day before recording of the interview. But some believe that bail orders might have been managed managed after recording the interview. TV anchor Adil Shahzeb angrily replied to a question in a literature festival on Sunday claiming that he knew about the bail orders before recording the interview.
