Almost five years after being convicted in Avenfield properties case and disqualified for life former prime minister Nawaz Sharif today emerged from Islamabad High Court room victorious. A two judges bench comprising Chief Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb acquitted former prime minister Nawaz Sharif who had spent 10 months in jail for this and another case whose appeal is still to be decided.
