Supreme Court of Pakistan held emergency hearing late night tonight to thwart what appeared to be an organised conspiracy against the 08 Feb elections involving Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf, Lahore High Court and the Election Commission of Pakistan itself. Only hours before catching his flight for 10 days long vacations Chief Justice Faez Isa on a petition by Election Commission of Pakistan deprecated the conduct of a Lahore High Court single judge bench that had suspended preparations by the election commission for the scheduled elections across Pakistan declaring it to be in direct conflict with the Supreme Court orders.
