Naveed Iqbal, a 47 years old government school teacher in Abbottabad, Khyber Pukhtoonkhawa fought a 14 years long painful legal battle to claim his arrears amounting to Rs 2200,000/- from his district education office. A three judges bench headed by Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa rejected an appeal by district education office Abbottabad and ordered that the teacher be paid his arrears and given promotion he was denied during the time.
