Pakistan’s six Supreme Court judges have asked their chief justice to reconstitute a larger bench for hearing of petitions challenging trial of civilians by the military courts. The constitutional petitions are filed as over 105 civilians have been facing military courts trial for the last 10 months out of which 20 have already been convicted for a short term and released.
