Justice Mohsin’s Akhter Kiyani of Islamabad High Court today ordered Islamabad police to record statement of local commander of the Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) in a case of missing poet Ahmad Farhad. The court also summoned secretary defense and secretary interior in person tomorrow at 3 PM who will explain about the whereabouts of the missing poet. Earlier wife of poet Farhad had disclosed before the court that she was contacted by ISI officials, on Saturday last, who wanted her to withdraw the petition before the court and offered to release her husband in return the same day. She said when she filed for withdrawal they reneged on their promise and promised to do the needful on Monday once the withdrawal of petition application would be accepted by court. #MJtv Matiullah Jan talks to wife of missing poet and her lawyers after the latest court hearing that has now been adjourned till tomorrow 3 PM.
