Top 13 judges today started hearing appeals by ally of jailed former prime minister Imran Khan seeking special quota of women seats in parliament earlier denied by election commission. The election commission and Peshawar High Court had earlier denied Khan’s Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI) about 22 women and minority seats in lower house of parliament – National Assembly owing to legal objections.
