In order to coverup for its own blunders and election engineering the Election Commission of Pakistan invoked a hurriedly passed law to transfer some election petition from one election tribunal judge to another judge. The commission passed the order for transfer of such cases only a day before the tribunal was to resume hearing of election complaints against the commission’s conduct. The commission along with the declared winners of three seats in National Assembly from capital Islamabad had earlier failed to produce their official documents to prove their victory results as valid in spite of the orders by the election tribunal headed by Islamabad High Court’s Justice Tariq Mehmood Jehangiri. #MJtv talks to senior court reporters Jehanzeb Abbasi and Saqib Bashir after breaking the news on a live transmission @ counter 21:00.
