In a major legal twist the Lahore High Court has declared that the#should not automatically handover to police on physical remand the persons accused of any crime unless there was a prosecutable evidence against him. The order has come in 12 appeals filed by Imran Khan against his being handed over to police on physical remand by lower courts in 09 May attacks case. The high court declared that grant of physical remand of Imran Khan to Punjab Police was without any solid basis and evidence.
