As 06 Aug deadline for implementation of Supreme Court verdict in special seats case expired today the Election Commission of Pakistan failed to meet the same. The commission was required to display on its website lists of PTI MNAs and MPAs and women and minorities seats by today as per the apex court order. Instead of doing so the government today used its disputed majority in parliament to pass a law that apparently blocks implementation of the apex court verdict.
