In a strange move the Pakistani government of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has vehemently opposed constitution of a judicial commission to probe into two years old murder of its nationally awarded journalist Arshad Sharif in Kenya. Attorney General Barrister Mansur Usman Awan said such a commission might not be allowed access to crime scene and witnesses in Kenya by the Kenyan government. The government response came before Islamabad High Court where senior journalist and anchorperson Hamid Mir had filed a petition to seek a judicial probe into Sharif’s murder.
