In an extraordinary top court proceedings a four judge’s bench led by Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa today accepted written unconditional apologies for airing contemptuous presser by politicians who had already apologised to the court. The contempt of court proceedings were dropped against over 45 TV channels but not without admonishment of the media CEOs and angry aspersions against social media from chief justice Qazi Faez Isa himself.
