In a revealing interview Advocate Amjad Shah, former vice chairman of country’s top lawyers body Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) has said that if legendary human rights activist and lawyer Asma Jehangir was alive she too would approve of Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) MoU with the military run business empire- the Defense Housing Authority (DHA). He was asked if the top lawyers bodies’ apparent silence over controversial constitutional amendments bill was due to their business interests with the establishment which is being seen as the real brain behind the proposed legislation.
