Pakistani authorities have arrested former prime minister Imran Khan in a corruption case. His arrest came a day after Khan accused/named a senior military officer of plotting to kill him. The country’s anti-graft institution National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has accused the former prime minister and his wife of receiving 458 acres of land from a property tycoon in return for 190 million pound which was confiscated by British authorities from the property tycoon and handed over to the state of Pakistan. The money was again given back to the property tycoon by the government of Pakistan.
