Supreme Court of Pakistan on Monday reserved its verdict on a challenge to parliament made law that required top judges to reconsider their verdicts through rehearing unlike the past practise of limited review jurisdiction. Chief Justice Omer Atta Bandiyal lead three member bench is also part of an eight judges bench that had already suspended a parliamentary legislation that made power of the chief justice to constitute different benches conditional to a decision of the three judges committee.
