A spokesman of Pakistan’s powerful military on Monday announced beginning of military court trials of those arrested for attacks and arson on defense installations just as the top court hears petitions challenging constitutionality of the military courts. A six member bench of the Supreme Court is hearing petitions filed by leading lawyers and ousted prime minister Imran Khan wherein constitutionality of the military trials of party workers and others who had attacked and burnt a military commander house soon after the 09 May arrest of opposition party leader Imran Khan. The spokesman warned that no obstacle will be tolerated on the way to prosecution and conviction of the 102 people arrested and now handed over to the military authorise for a trial in military courts. #MJtv analysis the court proceedings and the press talk by the military spokesman along with senior journalist Hasnat Malik.
