The government on Monday shocked the journalists community by announcing to withdraw a legislation that sought to ensure timely payment of salaries to media workers. Federal Minister of Information told a senate committee that in view of the criticism by some senior journalists and anchorpersons she was withdrawing the bill so that the new elected government and parliament may make a new law on the issue. #MJtv talked to the ministers and journalists after this development where journalists accused highly paid TV talk show hosts of unnecessarily criticizing the bill that resulted in the government withdrawing the same on anger.
