A nine member bench of the Supreme Court of Pakistan today admitted that the apex court had failed to give a fair trial to Bhutto 45 years ago that lead to his execution in a murder case. Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa read out an opinion of the court in response to a 12 years ago President trial reference that had sought clarification about a February 1979 Supreme Court verdict that followed hanging till death of the legendary politician and prime minister Zulfiqar ali Bhutto during the martial law of General Zia Ul Haq.
