Supreme Court of Pakistan today restored a judge who was dismissed from his office for accusing military of rigging 2018 elections. Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui of Islamabad High Court was sacked on charges of misconduct after he, in a speech to lawyer’s, shocked everyone by revealing that military powerful intelligence agency ISI official Gen Faez Hameed met him and tried to persuade him against giving relief to ousted and jailed prime minister Nawaz Sharif a few days before the general elections in 2018.
